For four days from February 15 to 18, 2024, a festival of creativity was held at the “NEW ENERGY TOKYO”, where remarkable designers, artists, and companies in various fields such as fashion, fashion goods, lifestyle goods, ethical products, beauty, food, and art gathered together beyond the boundaries of their genres.
NEW ENERGY TOKYO’s philosophy is to contribute to society through creations that create a new era, and this year’s event will be the fifth in the series.During the four days of the exhibition, about 250 brands gathered at the Shinjuku Sumitomo Building Triangle Plaza, which was visited by about 10,000 people.
On February 16, the “NEW ENERGY TOKYO ETHICAL AWARD” award ceremony was also held at the venue.This award is presented by Seki, editor-in-chief of the women’s magazine “FRau,” a sponsor of NEW ENERGY TOKYO, the editorial department, and NEW ENERGY TOKYO to recognize “initiatives that change the world through the things we use while contributing to society.”
Among a total of 250 brands and projects, Nikko Company, a manufacturer of western tableware, received the NEW ENERGY TOKYO ETHICAL AWARD. The company’s efforts toward circular economy, including the sustainable fertilizer “BONEARTH,” were highly evaluated.
